Kingsmen Sing for the Children

A small group of Kingsmen offered to sing for the children’s, parents and staff at Derriford Hospital Children’s Ward. One of the guys grandchildren is a regular visitor to the HDU suffering from chronic asthma and he thought it would be nice to give something back.


It was an emotionally charged performance singing to the poorly children on the different wards. The staff and parents also joined in with a few joint carols in the main reception area first..

Three Choirs - One Voice: 4 Weeks and counting - don't forget to book your tickets

Hard to believe but this wonderful concert to raise funds for BASICS Devon is now but 4 weeks away. The concert, featuring three local community choirs - the Kingsmen, the Callington Community Gospel Choir, and the Plymouth Rock Choir is being held at The Guildhall, Plymouth, on Friday 8th September 2023.

The Concert is being held to raise awareness of and funds for BASICS Devon. BASICS Devon strives to be the county's leading volunteer pre-hospital immediate care charity.
