The Kingsmen have had a really busy festive season with many paid performances and a lot of charity ones too, ranging from singing for the Children's Hospice South West at Princesshay in Exeter to singing on Christmas Eve at the Buckland Tout Saints Hotel and the Cottage Hotel, Hope Cove.

Nick Hanbury a baritone with the Kingsmen used to work for the Ordnance Survey for 31 years until he retired in 2001. He took Heather Hanrott, Sally Webber, John Meehan and Chris Birch on a three hour navigation exercise around Butterdon Hill (on Dartmoor) near Ivybridge as part of a package they bid for at a recent Kingsmen 'Auction of Promises' evening. There is a stone circle at the summit (which is 336mtr above sea level).

Kingsmen & Wadebridge Male Voice Choir (MVC) Joint Concert

The Kingsmen were invited to attend a charity fund raising concert with the Wadebridge Male Voice Choir in Egloshayle Church, Wadebridge on Remembrance Day (11/11/17) to raise funds for a new molecular diagnostic unit for the Oncology Dept at Derriford hospital. The unit costs £13K and funds to the tune of £5K has already been raised. The concert raised another magnificent £716 towards the total.

On a stormy October Saturday night nineteen resilient Kingsmen descended on Hope Cove Café near Kingsbridge to perform at a birthday party for Bridget.........aboard a double decker 'party bus' which was parked by the sea wall opposite the café. It had a kitchen/galley on the lower deck and seated eating area on the upper where the party guests were enjoying a meal.
